No ads No in-app purchases No accounts No advertising ID Plays fully offline

Overview

Arrow Escape is an offline puzzle game. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not collect. All 50 puzzle levels ship inside the app itself — you never need a network connection to play, and the app never asks you to create an account or sign in.

Information we collect

WhatWhere it goesWhy
App opens, sessions, and which screen you're viewing (e.g. title screen, a level, the settings menu)Firebase Analytics (Google)Understand which parts of the app are actually used, so we know what to improve
Basic device/app diagnostics Firebase collects automatically (app version, general device model, coarse country/region, an anonymous app-instance identifier)Firebase Analytics (Google)Standard analytics context; not tied to your name, email, or any account, because there is no account
Sound on/off, which level and shape you've unlockedStays on your device only, in Android's local app storageSo the game remembers your progress between sessions

The analytics identifier is a random ID Firebase generates per install — it is not linked to your Google account, email address, or real identity, and it resets if you uninstall the app.

What we don't collect

  • No name, email address, phone number, or account of any kind — the app has no sign-in
  • No advertising ID. The app explicitly removes Android's advertising ID permission, so it cannot be used even by the libraries that support it
  • No location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files
  • No payment information — there is nothing to buy in the app
  • No user-generated content, messages, or anything shared with other players

How information is used

The only data we receive — anonymous Firebase Analytics events — is used solely to understand overall usage patterns (for example, whether players get stuck on a particular level) so we can improve the game. It is never used to build an advertising profile, because the app shows no ads and requests no advertising identifier.

Third-party services

The app uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, as its only third-party service. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms:

Google Privacy Policy · Firebase and Privacy

No other analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or social SDKs are included in the app.

Advertising

Arrow Escape shows no advertisements and contains no ad network SDKs. Android's advertising-ID permission is explicitly stripped from the app, and Google Analytics' ad-personalization signals are switched off at the code level. There is nothing for an ad network to target even if one were later added without updating this policy.

Sharing and sale of information

We do not sell your information. We do not share information with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes. The only data that leaves your device goes to Google as our analytics processor, described above, and is used on our behalf, not sold onward.

Data retention and deletion

Your local progress (unlocked levels, sound setting) lives only on your device and is deleted the moment you uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android's app settings. Analytics data held by Firebase follows Google's standard retention windows; you can request its deletion by contacting us below, or by resetting the app-instance identifier through your device's Google Settings.

Security

Local game data is stored using Android's standard app-private storage, which other apps cannot read. Analytics data in transit to Firebase is encrypted. As with any software, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed 100% secure, but the app is designed to minimize what it collects in the first place.

Children's privacy

Arrow Escape is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CPRA), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Because the app collects no personally identifying information, most of what we hold is anonymous analytics data tied to a device instance rather than to you personally. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

International data transfers

Firebase Analytics data may be processed on Google's servers in the United States or other countries where Google operates, regardless of where you are located. Google maintains its own safeguards for these transfers under its privacy policy linked above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future update adds a new feature that collects different information — we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, note it in the app's Play Store release notes.
